Dusan Reljins første workshop

Dusan Reljin er en etablert fotograf med base i New Yorks fashion-verden.
Dusan Reljin har nå skapt seg et navn i fotograf-verden både gjennom sine samarbeid med andre kunstnere, store kampanjer for kjente internasjonale magasiner og varemerker som Lancome, Victoria Secret, Cacharel, Lacoste, Helmut Lang, Theory, Missoni, Paul & Joe, Sportmax, Wrangler, Estee Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent, Wella og L’Oreal.

Dusan har også en stor del kjendisportretter i sin portfolio av blant annet Eva Mendes, Eva Herzigova, Emanuelle Seigner, Kate Moss, Chloe Sevigny, Jennifer Hudson, Elletra Rosselini, Daria Werbowy, Debby Harry, Rihanna og Kanye West.

Født i Beograd, Serbia og delvis vokst opp i Norge. Dusan begynte å jobbe som assistent i Norge før han dro til NY for å jobbe for Craig McDean.

Dusan ønsker å dele sine erfaringer og inviterer sammen med Interfoto til en to dagers Workshop 13. og 14. august.
Han vil her gå igjennom alt fra ”pre-production” og idé-planlegging til tekniske sider av fotograferingen og gjennomføring før vi avslutter med ”post-production”.

Workshoppen vil ble gjennomført med en høy grad av interaksjon med deltakerne og alle deltagere vil under veileding av Dusan få gjennomføre et opptak med profesjonell modell og stylist i løpet av Workshoppen.
Dusan er innstilt på å gi mye av seg selv og det vil være rom for ”spørsmål og svar”-seanser hvor han også er villig til å avsløre noen av sine hemmeligheter.

Program:
(Workshopen foregår på norsk selv om programmet står på engelsk)

Day 1

Introduction - brief history about my self, my pictures and what kind of work Dusan am doing at the moment
Slideshow, show advertising, editorial, portraits and personal work through open discussion go over (2) images from each topic and discuss all the technical aspects, such as lighting, camera and digital
in addition to technical aspects discuss the creative process that is required for a shoot. Pre production, idea planning, referencing, to the execution and post prodution
discuss the theory of daylight, flash and hmi and camera techniques and digital aspects
questions
separate people into groups of 3-4 and allow them to choose what kind of project they want to shoot the next day based on one of the images.
Explain that photography is a team effort and that they will be working with hair & make up and stylists the next day to achieve the final result
Explain the role of the photographer in a team setting
Discuss more thoroughly the different technical settings with each group, allowing them to lead the conversation, but correct them when needed

Day 2

go through the set ups with each group
allow them to set up the shot with the help of assistants
discuss the concept with the hair, make up and stylists and guide them into creating the vision.
shoot
allow each member of the group to get an image they are satisfied with.
Go through the images and discuss different aspects of them
Reshoot for anybody who is not happy with the first result, or who I fell should reshoot
