Originally from Barcelona and currently based in Oslo, Norway. Street Photography is my way of exploring the mundane nature of life. I photograph to show (myself) that if one scratches beneath the surface of our daily life’s ordinary events, it is possible to unveil a “transreality”, a “world behind the world” in which extraordinary things can actually happen. My purpose as a photographer is to open some windows into that other world, so that people (and I) can take a look into it. Photographing is my way of escaping from our mundane temporal and spatial limitations, and saving myself from the crushing seriousness of the world. That’s why in my photos I often like to play with ideas humorously and imaginatively, and let an illogical dimension infiltrate and subvert our everyday reality, to experience an exception to the rules.
